Have you always wanted to learn how to use a sewing machine and turn fabric into something you can use?

Then this is the workshop for you to begin building up your sewing confidence!

You will learn the basics on how to operate your sewing machine, from threading the needle to sewing basic stitches.

You will also have the opportunity to put your newfound skills to the test by making your very own project.

This workshop is ideal for those who have never touched a sewing machine or need a refresher after being away from one for a long while.

In this Workshop We Will Cover:
  • Sewing machine anatomy(buttons, levers, spool holder,...);
  • Winding a bobbin;
  • Inserting a bobbin;
  • Threading a machine
  • Using an automatic needle threader(if your machine has one);
  • Using a seam allowance;
  • Sewing corner or curves;
  • Commonly used stitches;
  • How to change a needle;
  • How to change presser feet.
What You Need to Bring:

Your sewing machine together with its power cord and foot pedal.
