  • Your fabric of choice to complete the garment.
(If needed, I can provide this for you for an extra fee.)
About the Fabric Needed:

Best practice is to wash your fabric before constructing the garment in this session to avoid it shrinking at a later date.

Types of fabrics recommended for this workshop:

Light/medium woven fabrics with a good balance of structure and drape are
ideal.

Examples include cotton poplin, cotton lawn and linen.

Inexpensive alternatives to this are bed sheets or light weight curtains (That you may have in your home already).

Depending on the size dress you are going to make, you will need approximately 250-460cm based on a 140cm(55') wide fabric.

Aditional Information:

The dress pattern we are going to work on has the following size range:

High bust - 28” to 57” (71-145cm)
Full bust - 30” to 60” (76-152cm)
Waist - 24” to 57” (61-145cm)

We will not be able to make any adjustments to this size range in this workshop.
