Sewn at Midnight Gala Exclusive: Leon's Fabrics Shopping Event

The first of our Sewn at Midnight Gala events has officially happened, and what a lovely start it was!

It was so wonderful to see so many of our ticket holders joining us for an evening filled with sewing inspiration, fabric, and good company. The atmosphere was relaxed and cheerful, with music playing softly in the background while everyone enjoyed tea, cake, and of course - plenty of fabric shopping.

One of the highlights of the evening was hearing everyone’s plans for their gala outfits.

There were so many exciting ideas being shared around the room. From sparkling fabrics and delicate lace to bold animal prints, it’s clear that the Sewn at Midnight Gala is going to be a very stylish event indeed.

Guests also enjoyed 25% off all fabrics during the event, which made it the perfect opportunity to choose the special fabric for their gala outfit. Many people left with something beautiful tucked under their arm and a clear vision of what they’re going to create.

I must admit I was also quietly checking which fabrics everyone was choosing…and I’m very relieved that nobody picked the one I’m potentially planning to use for my own outfit. 🤭

I haven’t fully decided what I’ll be making yet, but there is definitely a plan forming.

Although, if you know me, there’s a good chance you’ll still see me panic sewing the night before the gala trying to finish my dress!

Most importantly, the evening was about bringing people together through sewing. Seeing conversations happening, ideas being shared, and excitement building for the gala made it incredibly special.

The next event in the Sewn at Midnight Gala journey is our Exclusive Pre-Gala Sewing Event at Janome HQ.

Included with your Sewn at Midnight Gala ticket, this special session gives you dedicated time and space to start working on your gala outfit alongside other attendees. It’s the perfect opportunity to turn all those fabric choices and outfit plans into actual garments.

I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone again and hopefully seeing some of those beautiful fabrics already turning into dresses, suits, and spectacular outfits. ❤️
